SUMMARY OF CRASH: On June 11, 2018 at approximately 7:50 am VT State Police were notified of a rear end collision on I89 in Colchester at MM93 SB. Operator#1 failed to slow to a stop and rear ended vehicle#2 in the passing lane. Troopers were able to clear the collision quickly which prevented a significant morning backup for other motorists. Troopers warn morning commuters to be aware of traffic that can slow abruptly or stop on I89 between Exits 16 and 13. Operator#1 will be mailed a traffic ticket for following too closely. $220.00 and 3 points.
