SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 6/13/18 at 11:06 Vermont State Police investigated a tractor trailer crash on I91 south, mile marker 22, in Putney. Gerald Paben was traveling south in a 2018 Mack tractor trailer behind Jimmie Rogers in a 2015 Freightliner tractor trailer. Both trucks approached the Putney weigh station and Paben got in the weigh station exit lane and allegedly began to pass Rogers on the right who was still in the travel lane. Rogers then allegedly exited for the weigh station and Paben veered into the guardrail to avoid a collision. Pabens truck sideswiped the guardrail and became hung up on it. There were no injuries. The guardrail had to be cut to remove the tractor trailer and tractor trailer was towed away. A commercial inspection was done and no tickets have been issued at this time.
