ACCUSED: Lisa Ryder

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Swanton, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

               

         On April 20th, 2018 at approximately 0857 hours the Vermont State Police were notified that a bus from the Fairfield School District assaulted a juvenile as she was getting off her bus.  Subsequent investigation revealed that the bus driver, Lisa Ryder (age 50 of Swanton), grabbed and pulled the juvenile’s arm as she was trying to exit the bus leaving a mark on her hand that would last several days.  Ryder has since been banned from driving for the Fairfield School District.  Ryder was ultimately issued a citation to appear in Franklin County District Court on 06/18/18 to answer to the charge of Simple Assault.
