VIOLATION: Negligent Operation  

 

ACCUSED: Ryan M. Corey      

AGE: 19

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bakersfield, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

                On  June 12th, 2018 at approximately 1700 hours, Troopers with the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks were conducting a directed patrol in the area of Interstate 89 south in the Town of Georgia, Vermont. Troopers observed a vehicle traveling south on Interstate 89 at 96 miles per hour. The posted speed limit on this section of public highway is 65 MPH. The vehicle was stopped on Interstate 89 south and the operator was identified as Ryan M. Corey. Corey was arrested for Negligent Operation of a motor vehicle on a public highway. Corey was later released on citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court to answer to the charge of Negligent Operation.
