SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On June 13, 2018, at approximately 0512 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle rollover on Vermont Route 103, just north of East Clarendon Road, in the Town of Clarendon, Vermont.

Through investigation it was learned that the 2004 Kia Spectre was operated by Ali Almatwari (31) traveling northbound on Vermont Route 103. Operator #1 (Almatwari) attempted to avoid two deer running across the roadway, he slowed for the first and swerved to avoid the second, while doing so his vehicle left the east side of the roadway and struck a tree. After striking the tree, vehicle #1 rolled over onto the driver’s side.

The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Clarendon Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service. Earl’s removed the vehicle from the scene.
