SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, Vermont State Police in Royalton responded to a reported family disturbance on Rix Road in Royalton. Investigation revealed that Eric Shepherd assaulted and strangled a household member. Shepherd was arrested and transported to the Royalton Barracks. A Judge was contacted and Shepherd was released with conditions and a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court on July 2nd, 2018 at 1230 hours.
