PRESS RELEASE

 

SATURATION PATROL

 

 

On June 13th, 2018, Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks along with members from the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations conducted a joint saturation patrol on Interstate 89, in and around the construction zone near the town of Georgia, in Franklin County. The purpose of the patrol was to enforce motor vehicle laws, and promote safe driving on our roadways.  

 

During the patrol, Troopers conducted several traffic stops, issuing (2) violations for Illegal U-turn violations, (1) violation for failing to yield to Law Enforcement, (5) violations of Cell phone Use while driving, and 1 Criminal arrest for Careless and Negligent operation of a motorist found to be traveling in excess of a 100mph.
