SUMMARY OF CRASH:  On June 26, 2018, at approximately 1830 hours, the Vermont State Police were contacted by Juvenile M.H. who advised he was struck by a motor vehicle while traveling north on Lake Dunmore Road in Leicester, VT.  The investigation revealed that Juvenile M.H. was traveling north on Lake Dunmore Road when Vehicle #1 being operated by Timothy Lester drove his vehicle into the rear of Juvenile M.H. bicycle.  Juvenile M.H. was taken to the hospital by his mother for minor injuries. Operator #1 Lester was not injured. 

 

Operator #1 Lester was found to be at fault for the crash and in violation of Title 23 VSA Section 1039 Following too closely. Operator#1 will be issued a Vermont Civil Violation Compliant.
