SUMMARY OF CRASH: On June 12, 2018, at approximately 1421 hours, dispatch advised of a two-car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Stoney Hill Road and Lovers Lane in the Town of Bristol. State Police arrived on scene and identified Operator#1 as Lorraine Kayser. Kayser advised that prior to the collision, she had been stopped on Stoney Hill Road waiting to turn left onto Lovers Lane. As she proceeded to make the left turn, Kayser stated that the sun was in her eyes and she didn't see the vehicle stopped on Lovers Lane and subsequently clipped the vehicle while making her turn. State Police identified Operator#2 as Dale Woods. Woods advised that prior to the collision, he was stopped on Lovers Lane waiting to turn onto Stoney Hill Road. Woods stated that a vehicle turning left onto Lovers Lane proceeded to hit his vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor contact damage as a result of the collision. No injuries were sustained and there were no indicators that alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.


State Police were assisted on scene by the Bristol Police Department.
