SUMMARY OF CRASH:  Troopers with the Williston Barracks, a Deputy from the  Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department, as well as Cambridge Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a car off the road on Oakes Road in Waterville, Vermont.  The car was reported to be on its side and the operator was initially reported to be entrapped in the vehicle.  When troopers arrived, they found 22 year old Nathan Lynch uninjured outside of the vehicle.  While speaking with Lynch, he advised that he was trying to avoid his vehicle being hit by a falling tree that was still blocking the roadway.  During the investigation, Troopers detected signs of possible impairment.  Lynch was arrested for suspicion of DUI, a violation of Title 23 VSA 1201.  Lynch was transported to the Lamoille County Sheriff Department where he was processed, and released on a citation.
