Westminster Barracks Saturation Patrol

SATURATION PATROL

 

During the evening hours of May 10th, 2018, Troopers from the Westminster Barracks a conducted saturation patrols throughout Windham County.  The purpose of the saturation patrols was to focus on speed enforcement, distracted driving and the detection and apprehension of alcohol/drug impaired operators.

 

During the detail, Troopers conducted 14 traffic stops. 1 operator was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License.  Two individuals were arrested for trafficking heroin (5 grams) and cocaine (9oz) into Vermont.

 

The Vermont State Police would like to remind all motorists to avoid operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and to always utilize a sober driver.
