SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 5/9/18, at approximately 2110 hours, a Trooper with the Vermont State Police observed 2 motorcycles traveling approximately 100 mph in a posted 50 mph zone on US Route 5 in Dummerston, VT. The two motorcycles continued north, exceeding speeds of 70 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. The Trooper conducted a motor vehicle stop on US Route 5 in Putney on both operators.  Brian Gautot and Reginald Jutras were both issued citations for Excessive Speed and were ordered to appear in court at a later date.
