SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On May 15, 2018, at approximately 1541 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police-Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on US Route 7, at the intersection of Vermont Route 103, in the Town of Clarendon, VT.

 

Through investigation, it was learned the Honda Goldwing being operated by Carol Gauthier (77) was merging north onto US Route 7 from Vermont Route 103. Gauthier lost control of the motorcycle which caused him to exit the east side of the roadway before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest, facing north, off the shoulder of US Route 7. Gauthier was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
