SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 12, 2018, Troopers responded to a motor vehicle complaint in the Town of Danby, VT. The complainant advised that during the overnight hours, a vehicle had crashed into the fence at the Little Angels Nursery and Preschool on Danby-Pawlet Road.

 

During the course of the investigation, Troopers located a license plate and multiple items of debris from the vehicle at the scene.

 

The vehicle identified from the license plate, was located at an address in Danby and had damage consistent to the debris left behind at the scene. Loretta A. Taylor, of Danby, VT, admitted to operating the vehicle during the crash. Taylor was released with a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 2nd, 2018 at 8:30am.
