SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 10, 2018, at approximately 1850 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks were conducting traffic enforcement on U.S Route 4 in Killington, when a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. A 2008 Kia Spectra was measured traveling at 74 mph, in a  40 mph speed zone. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was identified as Joshua B. Eells of Wallingford, Vermont. Eells was transported to the Rutland Barracks and issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, on June 18, 2018 at 8:30 AM, to answer to the charge of Excessive Speed.
