SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 10, 2018, at approximately 0922 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks were conducting traffic enforcement on VT Route 103 in Mount Holly, when a vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. The 2000 Mercedes was measured traveling at 83 mph, in a 50-mph speed zone. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was identified as James S. Lowe of Montpelier, Vermont. Lowe was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, on June 25, 2018 at 8:30 AM, to answer to the charge of Excessive Speed.
