SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

                On 05/13/18 at approximately 23:50 hours, the Vermont State Police were monitoring traffic on Rte-105 near Pond Rd in Swanton. While parked, State Police observed a vehicle traveling on Rte-105 at a high rate of speed, 74 in a posted 50 mph zone. The vehicle was stopped on Pond Rd and upon contact with the operator, identified as James Pieper-Lococo of Hinesburg, it appeared that he may have been under the influence. James was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported back to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing. He was later release with a citation to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
