INCIDENT LOCATION: VT Route 100 in Lowell VT and Ash Road in Eden VT

VIOLATION: First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Unlawful Mischief and Unlawful Trespass (all felony charges)

 

ACCUSED: Travis W Hesler II                                              

AGE: 36 years old

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Lowell VT

sexual assault or domestic violence.)

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 05-09-18 at approximately 0220 hours, VSP-Derby barracks learned of a domestic assault that took place in Lowell VT. 

The victim was not currently at the residence, as she had been taken to the hospital to have her injuries checked at the

emergency room.  The defendant, Hesler, was not able to be located.  VSP-Williston barracks received a call from the victim

advising that Hesler was at a residence on Ash Drive in Eden VT, where he was trying to force his way into the residence, and

in doing so he smashed windows to the residence and damaged a couple of doors and door casing.  Hesler then damaged a

couple of vehicles that were parked in the driveway, prior to leaving on foot.  Hesler was located by a Lamoille County Deputy

Sheriff who was also in the area.  Hesler was transported to the Derby Barracks where he was booked and processed for the

charges that took place in Lowell VT.  Hesler was brought to Orleans County Court for arraignment, where the Honorable Judge

Robert R Bent ordered Hesler be held without bail until further court hearings.  Hesler was also issued a citation to appear in

Lamoille County Court on 05-14-18 to answer to the charges that took place in Eden VT.
