SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 05/09/18 at 1843 hours, Vermont State Police were patrolling on Interstate 89, north bound, at miler marker 43 in the town of Williamstown. State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at 101 mph. State Police identified the operator as Benjamin Mendonca, 20, of Bristol, RI. Mendonca was transported to the Middlesex State Police Barracks for processing. Mendonca was released on citation to appear before the Orange County Superior Court-Criminal Division on 07/11/18 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge of excessive speed.
