SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On April 17th 2018 Troopers with the VT State Police responded to a two vehicle
crash on Eagle Hollow Road in Vershire, approximately a mile from the junction
with Chelsea Road. Troopers investigation revealed Vehicle#1 operated by
Benjamin Tiefenthaler was traveling north on Eagle Hollow Road when he lost
control of the vehicle on the snow/slush covered roadway and traveled into the
opposite lane of travel. Operator#2 Charles Hazen was traveling south on Eagle
Hollow Road when he observed Vehicle 1 travel into his lane. Hazen was unable to
stop on the snow/slush covered roadway. The front of Vehicle 2 struck the front
of vehicle 1 causing damage to both vehicles. Neither operator reported injuries
as a result of the crash.
