SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 04-16-18 VSP-Derby Barracks received a call advising of a crash that had occurred

in the parking lot of Kingdom Market in Brighton VT.  The crash occurred at approximately

0712 hours.  It was determined through investigation that the op had turned into the

parking lot at a slow rate of speed and had attempted to stop, however, due to the

parking lot being icy and untreated, the truck and trailer were not able to stop or steer

prior to colliding into the southside of the building.  Moderate damage was sustained to

the building and the truck had a minor dent in the moose rack on the front of it.  There

were no reported injuries to anyone.  VT DMV also responded to the crash and conducted

an inspection to the truck and trailer.
