Rutland Barracks/Possession of Crack Cocaine, False Information to Police, Arrested on warrant.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On February 12, 2018, at approximately 1830 hours, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street in Rutland City for a motor vehicle violation.  Troopers recognized a male passenger in the vehicle as Jason P. Robinson (39) who had an active arrest warrant for six sales of narcotics.  Robinson later provided a false name and date of birth in an attempt to avoid being arrested on the outstanding warrant. 


Troopers gained consent to search the vehicle.  Troopers located 1.7 grams of crack cocaine in the back seat where Robinson was seated.  Robinson was subsequently taken into custody for possession of crack cocaine, false information to police and lodged at the Mable Valley Regional Correctional Center on the outstanding warrant. 




BAIL: 5,000.00 on warrant
