SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

At 1140 AM Vermont State Police responded to a single car rollover crash that

had just occurred on Interstate 91 north in the Town of Hartland. Based on the

initial investigation Whitney was traveling north on Interstate 91 north in the

passing lane when she lost control of the vehicle.  Whitney was not able to

regain control of the vehicle and went off the right side of the road.  After

leaving the travel portion of the road the vehicle rolled multiple times before

coming to rest on the roof of the car.

 

Both Whitney and her passenger were transported to Mary Hitchcock Medical Center

for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries sustained as a result of the

crash.

 

Both Whitney and her passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

 

Speed and road conditions are considered to be the contributing factors in this

crash.
