SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On 11/14/2017, at approximately 0044 hours, a member of the Vermont State Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed, northbound, on Interstate 91, in the town of Westminster.

                The trooper performed a motor-vehicle stop and the investigation revealed that the operator, identified as Aaron L. Gobin, 30, of Hartland, had an extraditable warrant for his arrest from the State of New Hampshire. Further investigation revealed that Gobin, as well as his passenger, identified as Dylan T. Avery, 20, of Barre, were in possession of heroin.

                154 bags of heroin were seized from the vehicle.

                Both occupants were arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing. Both of them were ordered to be held at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
