SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 08-12-17 at approximately 1:45pm, the Vermont State Police responded to a two car crash near exit 2 on Interstate 91 north in the town of Brattleboro.  Upon arrival, a sedan pulling a camper was facing south in the northbound lane of Interstate 91.  The attached camper was rolled over onto its side while a second vehicle was in the shoulder with damage to a rear passenger door.  After speaking with both operators it was determined that the sedan pulling the camper attempted to pass in the left lane and as a result lost control of the sedan causing the camper to swerve.  The sedan pulling the camper jackknifed and struck a vehicle traveling in the right lane.  Both vehicles were sent into the shoulder which caused the camper to roll onto its passenger side.  There were no injuries as a result of this crash.  Neither vehicle was towed from the scene but due to significant damage to the camper, Al's towing was contacted.  Interstate 91 north between exit 1 and 2 had to be reduced to one lane during the duration of this crash.  All lanes of Interstate 91 have since been reopened near the crash scene.  The operator of the camper may be issued a ticket for failure to maintain its travel lane.
