SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/05/2017 at approximately 1540 hours Vermont State Police were dispatched to a one car motor vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 91 North at mile marker 56. Investigation revealed that operator #1 was travelling south on Interstate 91 and applied her brakes which led to the vehicle hydroplaning off the roadway due to the heavy rain conditions. The vehicle entered the median and flipped over an embankment coming to rest near the northbound passing lane. Operator #1 sustained minor injuries to include lacerations on her arms and legs.

 

Operator #1 was subsequently transported to Mount Ascutney Hospital to be treated for the above injuries. Vermont State Police were assisted by the Windsor Fire Department and Vermont Fish and Game.
