INJURIES: Fractured leg, fractured finger, lacerations to bicep and thigh, abrasions to chest.

HOSPITAL: Grace Cottage Hospital/ Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

 

 

 

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/12/2017 at approximately 1155 hours Vermont State Police were dispatched to South Wardsboro Road and Cobb and Reed Hill Road in the Town of Wardsboro for a reported motorcycle crash. According to the caller the operator was no longer on scene. Shortly after the operator was located at Grace Cottage Hospital where he was being treated for his injuries. Investigation revealed the operator entered a right hand curve and was unable to maintain his lane which caused the motorcycle to cross the centerline and strike a guardrail. The motorcycle received significant damage to the entire left side. The operator was later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. Vermont State Police were assisted by Wardsboro Fire Department and Scott Brooks Towing.
