SUMMARY OF CRASH:

VSP Williston Troopers responded to a single vehicle collision on I89 SB near MM 84.  Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that Op#1 (Armour) was traveling SB on I89 when he became distracted inside the vehicle and inadvertently veered towards the western side of the interstate.  Veh.#1 struck the corner of the Rte 2a overpass bridge corner/guard-rail, causing substantial damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.  Veh.#1 came to rest in the SB travel lane approx. 250 feet south of the point of impact. 


The cause of the crash was determined to be Operator Inattention. Armour was noted to be wearing his seatbelt and uninjured in the crash.
