Traffic alert – Delays – vehicle crash

Press Release – Highway / Traffic Notification

Traffic is being significantly affected on Interstate 89 north, near the Williston rest area (Between exits 11 in Richmond and 12 in Williston) A vehicle crash in the area is causing a back-up and motorists will experience delays.  At this point, the road is not closed, traffic is proceeding by the scene slowly. 

There's no current estimate on the duration of this incident, Troopers, along with the Williston Fire and Ambulance are responding.  Specific details are not yet available and updates will be provided as appropriate.

Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes. Please drive carefully, slow down and move over as much as possible to keep emergency responders safe.
