SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/03/17 at approximately 1252 hours, State Police

responded to a single vehicle crash near mile marker 122 on Interstate 91

southbound in the town of Barnet. Kyle Harney, 30, of West Charleston, VT was

traveling south before driving off the left shoulder into the guardrail. Harney

told police he reached down to pick up an item that had fallen on the floor.

Harney's vehicle a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo sustained heavy damage to the

front driver's side wheel assembly, bumper and hood and was towed from the scene.

 

The Caledonia County Sheriff's Department assisted with traffic control until

the vehicle was removed.
