SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On August 08, 2017, at approximately 0103 hours, the Vermont State Police

received information from a concerned citizen that a male may be operating a

vehicle while under the influence on US Route 4 in the Town of Mendon. The

concerned citizen reported the male may have been in a dispute with another

person in the area.

 

Troopers located the vehicle on US Route 4 in Mendon and conducted a motor

vehicle stop. The operator was identified as Malcolm J. Campbell. He displayed

signs of alcohol impairment and was screened for DUI. Campbell was taken into

custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town.

 

Campbell was processed for DUI and later released on a citation to appear at

Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division.
