SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:                            

 

On August 4, 2017 at approximately 0033 hours, troopers with the Vermont State Police –Rutland barracks responded to a fight between two individuals at a residence located on US Route 7 South in the Town of Wallingford. Upon arrival, troopers identified one of the parties involved as James Emery. Investigation revealed Emery, and another male who resided at the same house, engaged in a physical confrontation wherein Emery was found to be the dominate aggressor. Emery was transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center by Regional Ambulance Service to be treated for injuries he sustained in the altercation. Emery was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 21, 2017 at 0830 hours. He was released into the custody of the hospital, where he remained for treatment of minor injuries.
