Royalton Barracks/Saturation Patrol

SATURATION PATROL

 

During the morning hours of 8-13-17, Troopers from the Royalton Barracks conducted a saturation patrol on Interstate 89 in the Towns of Sharon and Royalton, which is part of the designated Safety Corridor.  The purpose of this patrol was to focus on speeding, distracted driving, and seatbelt use.  12 stops were initiated.  7 operators were stopped for speed; 5 operators were stopped for using a portable electronic device.
