SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 7/26/17 at 2351 hours Troopers from the VSP Royalton Barracks were dispatched

to the area of VT RT 14 and Palmer Rd, Town of Randolph for a single vehicle crash into

a power pole. Witnesses at the scene informed the operator left the scene

of the crash and ran across the field. VH#1 was observed as VT reg GMF788;(a

silver 2007 Honda Civic registered to Brittany Murphy of Tunbridge). VH#1 was

found at an uncontrolled rest off of the southbound shoulder of VT RT 14 ,

north of Palmer Rd. Power pole number 7/118 was damaged in the crash. No one was

around the vehicle. Air bags did deploy. East Randolph fire responded.

The operator was not found that evening the and vehicle was towed by

Hastings towing. Through investigation the operator was determined to be Camden Murphy

(20) of Tunbridge. Murphy was subsequently arrested for LSA and released on a citation to appeared in Orange County Court.
