SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 08/12/2017 at approximately 0249 hours, the Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Rte 14 in Randolph. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Peter Payette had rolled his Dodge Challenger while headed south on Rte 14.  Investigation revealed that Payette was under the influence of alcohol and had a criminally suspended license.  Payette was arrested for suspicion of DUI and cited for Orange County Court Criminal Division. Payette was then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility and ordered held until sober.
