INCIDENT LOCATION: VT RT 125, Bridport

VIOLATION: Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Endangerment, Impeding Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest  

 

ACCUSED: Tammy Burbo                                               

AGE: 51

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Vergennes, VT

 

VICTIM: (The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of

sexual assault or domestic violence.)

AGE: 17

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bridport, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 08/04/2017, at approximately 1025 hours, the Vermont State Police were called to a residence in Bridport for a citizens assist. Investigation revealed that Burbo was involved in the incident and was in route to the residence at the time of the call. State Police attempted to stop Burbo prior to arriving at the residence. While State Police were conducting an investigation, Burbo arrived on scene after failing to stop. Burbo was taken into custody after attempting to back into a State Police Cruiser almost striking a Trooper. Burbo resisted arrest after Troopers attempted to place her in custody. Burbo was transported to the New Haven Barracks and released on citation to appear at Addison District Court Criminal Division on August 7, 2017, to answer to the charges.
