Middlesex/Burglary

DATE/TIME: 08/10/2017 0554 hours

LOCATION: 5172 Main Street, Waitsfield. Champlain Farms.

VIOLATION: Burglary

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at the Champlain Farms on Main Street in Waitsfield, VT. Upon arrival troopers met with staff who advised at approximately 0200 hours, the front door was smashed and several items to include cigarettes and beer were stolen. Video surveillance was captured and troopers are working with staff to identify the subject(s).

 

A second incident occurred at approximately 0615 hours at the Simons gas Station at the intersection of VT Rt. 17 and VT Rt. 100 in Waitsfield. Troopers were notified of three males, two of whom entered the store during business hours and stole an item. Troopers are investigating to determine if these incidents are related or not. Video Surveillance is also being obtained in this investigation. Troopers are asking for the publics assistance if you observed anything suspicious in the area around these times.
