FW: New Haven Barracks / Saturation Patrol

SATURATION PATROL

 

On 8-12-17, during the daytime hours, troopers from the New Haven Barracks conducted a saturation patrol on US RT 7 in Addison County.  The purpose of this patrol was to focus on aggressive driving, enforcement of  mobile device violations, unsafe driving and to ensure seatbelt use. A total of 28 vehicles were stopped for various violations, in which tickets or warnings were issued.  Of those 28 stops, 8 were for electronic device usage.

 

These high visibility patrols will continue in the Addison County area.
