SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On August 3, 2017, at approximately 2344 hour, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks, conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 31 in the Town

of Wells, for several observed motor vehicle violations.  During the interaction with the operator, and subsequent field sobriety test, several indicators of

impairment were observed.  Ayers was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Castleton Police Department for

processing.  After processing Ayers was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 21,2017 to answer to the charge of

DUI.
