SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 22, 2017 at approximately 0813 hours Vermont State Police Williston Troopers were conducting pro-active patrol on Interstate 89 in Winooski at MM90 within the "Safety Corridor". While on patrol, troopers observed Brian M. Desrochers traveling south over the Winooski River Bridge at a high rate of speed. Desrochers’ vehicle was subsequently clocked on radar at 101 miles per hour. The posted speed limit in the safety corridor is 55 miles per hour. Desrochers was taken into custody, transported to the Williston State Police for booking, and released on a citation to appear in Chittenden district

court for August 22, 2017 at 0830 hours.
