SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On July 29, 2017 at approximately 2105 hours Vermont State Troopers observed a vehicle commit a moving violation on Rt. 15 in Cambridge. A Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle but the driver did not yield to blue lights and sirens.

 

The vehicle was pursued for a short distance before it pulled into a nearby driveway. The operator and several other individuals jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods. While attempting to locate these individuals Billy Pecor of Richford and Kelly Pecor of Cambridge impeded in the investigation. Both were issued citations to appear in Court for the offense of Impeding the investigation. At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been identified.  Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is asked to call Vermont State Police at (802) 878-7111.
