SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 29, 2017 at approximately 0741 hours VT State Police Troopers were notified of a car that was disabled in the road on VT Route 116 in the town of St. George. Initial information was that the car was in a curve and was a traffic hazard. Upon arrival, Troopers found the sole occupant of the vehicle Nathan V. Strickler-Mccann passed out behind the steering wheel of the car. Strickler-Mccann's 2012 Toyota Camry was blocking the northbound lane of travel and sustained damage from going off the road. Rescue was called to medically screen Strickler-Mccan to make sure there was not a medical issue. Troopers subsequently screened Strickler-Mccann and took him into custody for suspicion of DUI. Strickler-Mccann was processed at the VSP Williston barracks and released on a citation to appear in Chittenden District Court on August 17, 2017 at 0815 hours for DUI Refusal.
