INCIDENT LOCATION: Townshend, VT.

VIOLATION: Attempted Burglary, Burglary, Two counts of Unlawful mischief and Unlawful trespass.

ACCUSED: Benjamin M. Lyons 09-04-76                                       

AGE: 40

TOWN: Newfane, VT.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 07-24-17, Vermont State Police and Brattleboro Police conducted a joint burglary investigation. Based on this investigation, probable cause was found to charge Benjamin M. Lyons, 40, of Newfane, VT. with: Attempted Burglary, Burglary, Unlawful mischief (two counts) and Unlawful trespass. These charges are reference two different incidents in Townshend, VT. in the month of June 2017.

Lyons is currently being held in the Southern States Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
