INCIDENT LOCATION: 857 Memorial Drive St. Johnsbury, VT

VIOLATION: Retail Theft and Simple Assault

 

ACCUSED: Nathan Spencer                                               

AGE: 27

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: St. Johnsbury, VT

 

VICTIM: Gary Miller

AGE: 47

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Barton, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 7/12/2017, at approximately 1117 hours, Vermont State

Police were dispatched to a theft at the St. Johnsbury Price Chopper located at

857 Memorial Drive in the town of St. Johnsbury, VT. Investigation revealed

Nathan Spencer (27) attempted to steal a bottle of liquor from Price Chopper.

When he was confronted, Spencer assaulted Gary Miller (47) and fled the scene.

Spencer was later taken into custody.
