SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On July 8th, 2017, the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks began a Vandalism and Trespass investigation in the Town of Sheffield Vermont. In the early morning hours of 7/8/2017, an unknown number of individuals made forced entry onto the property of the windmill farm, and into a windmill located on New Duck Pond Road. No damage  was noted at the facility other than the forced entry points. Vermont State Police is urging anyone with any information or leads regarding this incident to contact Trooper Ross at the St. Johnsbury barracks at 802-748-3111. If those with information wish to remain anonymous you can contact the Northeast Kingdom Crime Stoppers at 802-748-2222.
