SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the afternoon of 07-29-17, State Police responded to a single vehicle crash near mile marker 150 north. Upon arrival it was found that Vehicle 1 had gone off the left side of the interstate through a guard rail, where it rolled onto it's roof approximately 100 feet down an embankment. The operator and passengers were able to self extricate and were evaluated by Lyndon Ambulance. The vehicle had heavy damage to the front and roof. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. The operator was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. All passengers were however wearing seatbelts. There were no injuries reported. State Police were assisted on scene by Sheffield Fire Department and Lyndon Rescue.
