VIOLATION: Attempting to Elude / Civil Possession Marijuana

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07-05-17, at approximately 0920 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation on Interstate 91 north, near mile marker 100, Bradford VT. The operator, Michelle Coburn, failed to bring her vehicle to a stop when signaled to do so by flashing blue lights, white signal lamp, and sounding siren. On scene investigation revealed Coburn to be driving with a suspended operator's license and to be in possession of a civil amount of marijuana. Coburn was taken into custody and processed at the Bradford Outpost. She was released on a citation to appear at the Superior Court of Vermont, Criminal Division, Orange County.
