St. Albans/ Driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash and negligent operation

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On July 1, 2017 Troopers from the St. Albans barracks were called out to what appeared to be a single vehicle crash on Landon Rd in the Town of South Hero, VT. While en route, Troopers were notified that another cash may of occurred at the entrance of the Apple Island Marina however, the South Hero Fire Department determined it was from the same vehicle located on Landon Rd.

 

Once on scene, Troopers learned that Nicholas Todd (34) was the operator of the vehicle. Troopers then located the male at his parents residence located in Grand Isle, VT. Todd was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of a crash, careless and negligent operation and dui. He was also given a ticket for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

 

Todd was transported and processed at the Grand Isle Sheriff's Department. He must appear in Grand Isle District Court on July 20, 2017 at 0830am to answer to the charges listed above.
