VIOLATION: Violation Conditions of Release & Petit Larceny

 

ACCUSED: Trevor Cummings

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Swanton, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On July 8th, 2017 at approximately 0130 hours the Vermont State Police were notified of a theft from a taxi driver at the Sunoco Service Station in Swanton, VT.  The subsequent investigation revealed that Trevor Cummings, age 27 of Swanton, stole money from his taxi driver’s vehicle.  Further investigation showed that Cummings was in violation of his conditions of release as he was out beyond his curfew.  On July 9th, 2017 at approximately 0007 hours the Vermont State Police in collaboration with the Swanton Police Department ultimately found Cummings at a residence on New Street in Swanton, VT.  Cummings was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.  At the conclusion of which Cummings was lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility for failure to produce $1,000.00 bail.  Cummings is schedule to appear in Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 10th, 2017 to answer to the charges of Violation Conditions of Release and Petit Larceny.
