INCIDENT LOCATION: Church Road in Fairfield, VT.

VIOLATION: Driving Under the Influence #3

 

ACCUSED: David P. Button Jr.                                             

AGE: 45

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Richford, VT.

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 4, 2017 at approximately 0107 hours the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2003 Ford Truck near Church Road and Castle Road in Fairfield, VT, for a traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle, David P. Button Jr., 45, of Richford, VT, was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Button refused to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Button was transported to the VSP St. Albans Barracks for processing. Button was ultimately lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility for the felony charge of Driving Under the Influence #3.
